System Administrator
Tier-2 Network Administrator will be responsible for handling installation, configuration, troubleshoot, and network-related project for global clients.
Job Descriptions
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain wide array of network related services such as physical & hardware layer, web/mail/DNS/database services, routing/switching/load balancing/firewall devices.
- Provide guidance and support to Tier 1 engineer team in overseeing trouble ticket queues and resolve escalated issues while maintaining SLA.
- Create and maintain necessary tools to monitor our network and ensure 100% network uptime and delivery.
- Develop and maintain clear and concise documentation of cases, issues, and resolutions for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Meet with customers to discuss issues, handle support requests, and maintain positive relationships through effective communication.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, ensuring project delivery aligns with customer expectations.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience as Network Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network devices (routers, switches) and monitoring tools.
- Experienced with network virtualization, security (firewall, VPNs, etc), operating systems (Linux & Windows server).
- Experience in network appliances and devices (Cisco ASA, Cisco Catalyst, Force10 Switches, KEMP Load Balancer, Coyotepoint load balancer, etc).
- Sonicwall/Watchguard/Juniper/Fortinet appliances is a big plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Able to to work in shifts (24/7 operation) within hybrid arrangement in Surabaya.
